For Samantha, it began during one of the most intimate journeys of her life—fertility treatments. She was handed a three-page list of ingredients to avoid and realized that even so-called “clean” products were still laced with endocrine-disrupting chemicals (EDCs). At a time when hormonal balance was critical, the truth became clear: the market lacked high-performance skincare that was truly hormone-safe.

Q: How do you find balance when life gets busy? Any small rituals that help keep you grounded?

Kelly: I stay grounded by spending quiet time in nature, meditating, and being with my family.

Samantha: Balance comes from simple daily rituals like meditation, journaling, and movement, even if it’s just 15 minutes. In the warmer months, I recharge on mountain bike trails with the love of my life. Connection, stillness, and whole nutrition are my anchors.

Samantha: Do it with intention. Know your why and hold it close—it will carry you through the hardest days. Entrepreneurship is persistence, not perfection. Every season teaches you something. How the Founders Recharge

Q: When you’re not working, how do you recharge?

Kelly: I recharge by brainstorming with Samantha—it energizes me. I also dive into ingredient research, which keeps me inspired to push boundaries in hormone-safe skincare.

Samantha: Brainstorming fuels me too, but I also need time away. Mountain biking in nature, journaling, meditation, and cooking nourishing meals are my resets.
