Naked Collagen Advanced Review: What I Thought of the New Formula

At 39, I’m trying to find that balance between embracing aging and still doing what I can to feel good in my skin. I’m honestly a little terrified of Botox and filler, so I tend to gravitate toward more natural, low-lift wellness habits that feel sustainable long term.

One of those habits has been adding collagen to my afternoon tea.

I’ve been using the original Naked Nutrition Collagen for the past few months, and it’s become one of those simple wellness routines that feels easy to stick with. So when Naked Nutrition launched their new Advanced Collagen formula with added vitamin C and hyaluronic acid, I was immediately curious.

Naturally, I had to try it.

Today I’m sharing my honest Naked Collagen Advanced review, including how it compares to the original and whether I think it’s actually worth upgrading.

What’s Different About Naked Collagen Advanced?

The biggest difference between Naked Collagen Advanced and the original version is the addition of vitamin C and hyaluronic acid.

Collagen peptides alone are already popular for supporting skin elasticity, hair strength, nails, and joint health. But the added ingredients make this formula feel a little more skincare-focused.

  • Vitamin C helps support collagen production and absorption.
  • Hyaluronic acid is known for supporting hydration and that plumper, glowier skin look.

So instead of just a basic collagen powder, this version feels a bit more like an all-in-one beauty-from-within supplement.

How I’ve Been Using It

One thing I genuinely appreciate about Naked’s products is how simple they are. I’m not someone who wants to take a dozen supplements every morning, and I definitely prefer powders over swallowing a handful of pills.

I usually add a scoop to my afternoon tea, which has honestly become a comforting little ritual in my day. It mixes easily, doesn’t really change the flavor, and doesn’t feel like “one more thing” on my wellness to-do list.

You could easily add it to smoothies or coffee too, but tea has been my favorite way to use it.

My Experience So Far

After using the original collagen consistently, I did notice my skin looked a little firmer and more hydrated overall. With the Advanced version, I feel like my skin has looked slightly brighter too.

Of course, everyone’s body responds differently, and collagen isn’t some overnight miracle product. But for me, it feels like one of those little wellness habits that adds up over time.

I also appreciate that Naked keeps the ingredient list really clean. I’m fairly sensitive to supplements and fillers, and I didn’t experience any weird side effects or stomach issues while using this.

Naked Collagen vs. Naked Collagen Advanced

Here’s how I’d personally think about the two:

Original Naked Collagen

  • Simple collagen peptides
  • Great for general wellness, protein support, hair, skin, nails, and joints
  • Best if you prefer a minimalist supplement routine

Naked Collagen Advanced

  • Includes vitamin C + hyaluronic acid
  • More targeted toward skin hydration and elasticity support
  • Feels more like a beauty/wellness hybrid supplement

If you’re mainly taking collagen for overall wellness or protein, the original honestly works great.

But if your focus is more on skin support and healthy aging, I do think the Advanced version is a worthwhile upgrade.

If you’re super sensitive to supplements, though, you may prefer sticking with the original and adding vitamin C separately.

My Final Thoughts

I’ve genuinely enjoyed incorporating Naked Collagen Advanced into my routine. I like that it feels supportive without adding more complexity to my day, which, honestly, is usually the deciding factor for whether a wellness habit actually sticks for me.

The combination of collagen, vitamin C, and hyaluronic acid makes it feel a little more targeted toward healthy aging and skin support, while still being incredibly easy to use. Since I was already adding collagen to my afternoon tea most days, switching to the Advanced version felt pretty seamless.

And while I’ve been testing the collagen, my husband has been using Naked Nutrition’s creatine powder as part of his workout routine. He already takes creatine regularly, so he was excited to try this one, and we both appreciate how simple and straightforward Naked’s ingredients are without a lot of unnecessary fillers or additives.

At this point, both products have become easy additions to our routines, and as busy parents, that honestly says a lot.

Thanks to Naked Nutrition for partnering with me on this post. As always, I only share products I’d genuinely use in my own routine, and all opinions are my own.
