The Credo Beauty sale is this week, and I’m using it as an excuse to restock a few of my go-to products and test a couple of new ones. If you are new to Credo, they are a dedicated non-toxic beauty retailer with strict ingredient standards.
I love trying new things, but my approach has always been pretty simple. Less is more. I’m not someone with a 10-step routine. I stick to a few solid products that actually work.
Over the years, I’ve tested a lot of brands and products to get to that point. And now I feel like I don’t need a ton to see results, just a handful of good ones.
So if you’re curious about clean beauty, or just want to refresh your routine, here’s what I’m repurchasing and what I’m testing this time around.
What I Always Restock
These are the products I buy on repeat and always try to grab during a sale:
Arey Grey Shampoo
I’ve been using this Arey Grey Shampoo to help manage my grays and stretch time between salon appointments. It doesn’t necessarily erase them, but they’re definitely more manageable, which makes a difference.
Ilia Mascara
This Ilia Volumizing Mascara is the only clean mascara I’ve consistently repurchased. It gives my lashes a little lift without getting clumpy, which is hard to find.
Osea Face Wash
Sadly the Osea Cleanser is not part of the sale, but I stocked up anyway. It’s gentle, doesn’t strip my skin, and just works. I wrote more about my everyday non-toxic skincare essentials.
What I’m Buying This Time
Suntegrity Tinted Moisturizing Face Sunscreen
I love anything that simplifies my routine. I’ve used Suntegrity Tinted Suncreen before and like that it doubles as SPF + light coverage.
Westman Atelier Eyeliner
My go-to brown eyeliner is finally running out, and the brand doesn’t exist anymore. I’m trying this one next. I use a lot of Westman Atelier products and have had a really good experience with them. I’ve shared more in this post on my go-to clean makeup products.
Rye Brow Grooming Serum
I’ve been trying to grow my brows back after years of over-plucking. Serums have helped, so I’m curious to see how this one performs.
What I’m Testing (Using Points)
I used some of my Credo rewards to try a few extras:
Innersense Hydrating Mask
I already like this brand, so excited to try this mask. I’ve shared more in my favorite non-toxic hair styling products.
Ceremonia Mini Papaya Scalp Scrub
I’ve been more focused on haircare lately after fixing some damage from a bad highlight job over a year ago. I wrote more about my at home hair repair routine here, but this felt like a good one to try.
Goldfaden MD Radiance Whip Face Mask
I’ve used a few of their products before and liked them, so I’m curious about this one. Love a good mask for days when I have extra time.
What I’d Skip (or Not Rebuying)
Ursa Major Golden Hour Recovery Cream
I really wanted to love this. It felt great going on, but over time something didn’t agree with my skin. I have pretty sensitive skin, so this one just didn’t work for me long-term.
Final Thoughts: Credo Beauty Sale
I’m not trying to overhaul my routine or buy things I won’t use.
I’m restocking the products I consistently come back to and testing a few new ones along the way. I usually use this sale as a chance to stock up on things I already know I like, and maybe try one or two new additions.
