I expected it to maybe ease the sensations but not get rid of them completely. So I decided to give it a shot.

I am thankful that I came across this because so far it is the only thing that has brought me relief. At the time, I tried everything including magnesium supplements, Epsom salt baths, and stretching before bed. Nothing helped the way this product has. It helped me fall asleep and stay asleep!

What Is 8 Sheep Organics Lotion

It’s a non-toxic lotion that helps reduce the aches, pains, leg cramps, and restless leg syndrome that can come along with pregnancy. The key ingredient is the “Deep Sea Magnesium Chloride Brine” which works by getting absorbed transdermally, or through your skin.

It comes in a variety of scents using organic essential oils. There is also an unscented version. I purchased the lavender-scented one. It’s light and intoxicating. Sometimes I sniff the jar to relax. The remaining ingredients include: organic mango butter, organic coconut oil, organic beeswax, and distilled water. All ingredients you can understand and feel good about. 

It can be a little greasy when you first apply it, so I would be careful not to use it while wearing any expensive clothes. Aside from that, the product is amazing. I haven’t come across anything else on the market quite like this. 

They also have a “Junior’s Bedtime Lotion” to help support restless babies and kids getting deeper sleep. I may need to try this one next! 

Does 8 Sheep Lotion Work

Yes, this product works! It’s one of the few products that does what it says it’s going to do.

For me, it can take a little while to truly kick-in and calm those sensations, but once it does, I get the most restful sleep ever. The best part is I wake up feeling rested and not super groggy. 

If it wasn’t for this product, I don’t know how I would survive pregnancy. I’d be walking around like a zombie every single day. I’m a working mother so this has significantly improved my quality of life during this difficult stage.

How To Use The 8 Sheep Lotion

You can use it daily to help reduce restless leg syndrome, leg cramps, or other discomforts. It is meant to promote sleep, so I recommend using it at night. 

The bottle suggests applying up to 3 teaspoons of lotion. Sometimes, I apply a light layer and if I’m still having trouble, I double down. That always seems to do the trick. 

I find it helpful to apply, 30-40 min before bedtime to give it time to kick in. This reduces the time I spend tossing and turning every night.
